Why Raise Your Puppy With Me?
I started Sprout's Legacy because I know the first 16 weeks with a puppy are exhausting. The sleepless nights, the potty accidents, the sharp teeth — and the fear that if you do it wrong, you'll live with behavior problems for 12 years.
My specialty is Puppy Head Start Immersion: your puppy lives with me in my Eastern Iowa home and learns crate manners, potty structure, house boundaries, and how to be calm around chickens, cats, other dogs, and real life.
Dog training is more than teaching a dog to sit or lay down; it's about helping them navigate our human world with confidence and peace. Our balanced training approach focuses on clear, structured communication. We teach dogs what is expected of them, reward their good choices, and gently hold them accountable to create a balanced state of mind.
In addition, Tonya educates owners so that the training is sustainable, healthy, and happy for the lifetime of your dog.
